The Osage Nation, headquartered in Pawhuska, Oklahoma, United States, is a federally-recognized Native American government, a sovereign entity that is recognized by the United States government as having a distinct political and legal status. Federally-recognized Native American governments are empowered to make and enforce their own laws within their territories, and are often involved in issues related to tribal sovereignty, cultural preservation, and economic development.

The Trust Project
